Unlike the compact Master Lock 5401 for ordinary house keys, the Master Lock 5403 XL has a substantially larger internal compartment. It can accommodate access cards, longer keys and bulky keyrings that are difficult to store in compact models.
We recently supplied one to a company specifically needing to store an access card. We have also personally tested the 5403 XL in the milk compartment of a standard Swiss postbox: it fits against the back wall.
The 10 × 5 cm Heavy Duty Velcro provides removable, drill-free fixing (rated up to 7 kg according to the manufacturer). Most ordinary house-key installations do not need the XL capacity; this model offers another option when extra space is important.
- Space for access cards, large keys and bulky keyrings
- Removable Heavy Duty Velcro fixing without drilling
- Resettable mechanical 4-digit combination; no batteries
- External dimensions: 146 × 105 × 51 mm
- Internal dimensions: 117 × 79 × 42 mm
- Check your compartment and card dimensions before ordering
