1. Installing your post box keysafe using glue
We recommend Pattex adhesive as it forms a very strong bond, it can withstand a wide temperature range and it is easy to use. Install the key box using the glue supplied as follows :

2. Installing your post box keysafe with Velcro
Ensure that the area within the post box where you wish to install your secure keysafe with codeis clean and dry. The post box keysafe with Velcro come compelte with a strip of heavy duty, stick on Velcro. Simply attach the Velcro to the rear of the key box, then attach this to the back of your post box. Once the key safe has been attached, the velcro gives a solid, semi-permanent fixing. The Velcro has double sided adhesive tape that safely holds up to 7kg per 5cm x 10cm strip, so will require a fairly significant force to remove it. |
3. Installing your Magnetic key box for the post box
The Magnetic key box for the post box is simple to attach. In the case of metal letter boxes which are the most common in Switzerland, simply attach the key box to any surface of the post box using the strong magnets. If the letter box is not metal, then a metal fixing plate is supplied with the magnetic key box for the post box which can be attached to your chosen location within the post box using the double sided tape supplied. |

Designed as a wall mounted keysafe, and often used for this purpose, the MLK5401 is also often used in Switzerland for attaching within the letter box. Frequently used by care companies, the key safe has a four wheel combination which can be changed as required by the owner. The size and weight of this key safe make it suitable for installation in most post boxes.
