The Master Lock MLK5412 XL is a heavy-duty, wall-mounted push button key safe. Its 12-button mechanical keypad offers up to 479,001,600 possible combinations, with no batteries required. A large internal compartment makes it ideal for multiple keys or access cards.

Installation and code management

For best security, mount the MLK5412 XL on a solid surface (brick, concrete, dense wood) and keep it aligned and firmly fixed. Even with a protective cover, a sheltered location improves keypad comfort and helps reduce dirt build-up.

Use a non-obvious code, keep it private, and change it whenever access has been shared or user roles change. After any code change, test opening and closing several times.
