The Master Lock 5412 AUTO XXL is our specially prepared vehicle key-safe solution for modern electronic car keys, bulky key fobs and access cards that are too large for many standard vehicle key safes.

We create the AUTO XXL ourselves using the large-capacity Master Lock 5412 key safe. We open the original product, prepare and drill the back of the safe, then securely attach our over-window vehicle mounting bracket. The result combines the much larger internal capacity of the 5412 with a practical mounting system specifically prepared for vehicle use.

The finished safe fits over the vehicle's side window. No drilling or permanent modification of the vehicle itself is required. The 12-button combination is fully mechanical, requires no batteries and can be reset whenever access requirements change.

The AUTO XXL is therefore particularly useful when a conventional vehicle key safe is simply too small for a large electronic key, bulky fob, access card or badge.

Why we created the AUTO XXL vehicle solution

Many modern electronic car keys and bulky key fobs are simply too large for standard vehicle key safes. To solve this problem, we prepare the 5412 AUTO XXL ourselves using the large Master Lock 5412 and fit our over-window vehicle mounting bracket.

This gives you the larger internal capacity of the 5412 with a practical vehicle mounting system. The finished safe fits over the side window, with no drilling or permanent modification to the vehicle itself.

Before use, check that the safe is stable on the window and does not interfere with normal door operation. Keep the code private, change it when authorised users change, and test several complete open/close cycles after resetting the combination.
